Security and Consulting Audits

The term security means different things to different people, but our view is that it covers the infrastructure of the business along with the nuts and bolts to support it. It provides that secure ring around the business to allow you to get on with its day to day running in a secure environment.

We assume that readers of this page will be security managers and the like, so we do not intend to waste your time, and our web space, telling you about your industry.

We have no ties with manufacturers and the like and offer a team of dedicated specialists in the different fields covering such areas as government, local authorities, engineering and construction, plus building and site security.

There are a number of key elements to our service which we think you should take into account, whether or not you use our services, namely:

Professional - there are literally thousands of firms, one man bands, an array of individuals and even criminal gangs offering security and consulting advice. Anyone can set themselves up in this area business. It is an issue the government has finally agreed to address by providing a licensing regime, although that is some way off.

We suggest therefore, that you first identify who you are thinking of doing business with. Simple KYC. The best approach apart from looking at the company, is to look at the individuals concerned. Ask for CV's. See what their personal background is.

Our team is made up of former police officers whose background was the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Branches. They are fully trained having attended the various courses at Home Office approved training centres. They have a track record of honesty and integrity and they have carried out this type of work over many years working for an organisation - the police - which actually deals on a daily basis with the bad guys. They know how the bad guys think and they are hands on individuals and not part of the talk circuit that is prevalent in this business.

The Head of our Security Review and Audit Team is a former detective who at one point in his career was seconded to the Home Office in a role that covered the provision of crime prevention advice for government departments and the various economic key points. He was head hunted from that position at the end of his career by a leading UK energy company where he was Head of Security operating around the world advising and implementing security programmes. Independent - many security companies are 'in bed' with the various manufacturers and service providers and often receive introductory fees for passing business their way. We have no such links. We offer independent advice for the review and audit according to your true needs, prepared designs, bids and tender documents so that you can approach a selection of businesses offering the resource you need. If necessary we will project manage the procurement and installation. But throughout this process you will at all times be offerred independent and impartial advice.
