HR Support Services

In addition to background screening, we offer a support service to HR in relation to workplace issues or difficulties. The modern HR department now becomes involved in so many aspects of business life that they are often called upon, or become involved in, diverse activities for which specialist support is required.

We are able to offer the services of the following specialists:

HR Advisor HR Lawyer

We also provide HR support services which can be placed under the headings of

  1. Allegations of fraud and/or internal theft - conducted by former career detectives, experienced in such matters and capable of discretion in sensitive issues.
  2. Investigations into cases of harassment etc - such cases are now common in the business world but often rely on one person's word against the other. Using modern technology we can provide independent evidence as to whether such claims are true or malicious.
  3. Crime scene investigation - when an incidence of criminality takes place within a company, much useful information can be obtained in this type of enquiry. The work will be undertaken by former Scotland Yard crime scene examiners.
  4. Evidence gathering - there are many pitfalls to evidence gathering, whether it is for the civil or criminal courts. Our team can conduct those enquiries in a professional manner and in compliance with the Rules of Evidence.
  5. Parallel trading research - it is not unknown for a member of staff to set up a parallel trading business, either to defraud your company or to become a competitor. Research and investigations, plus annual reviews, can reduce this risk.
  6. Computer forensics - laptops and PCs are now an integral part of business life and it is often necessary to interrogate both during an enquiry. It should be done in such a fashion as to protect the data for later possible use in Court. We undertake this work on a regular basis.
  7. Exit reviews of laptops, PCs and mobile phones - as with the above, some basic checks can be undertaken at the time of somebody leaving the company to see what their activities were in the weeks preceding their retirement or dismissal.
  8. Vendor vetting - it is a fundamental principle of good business practice to know who you are dealing with by way of supplier, vendors etc. Our vendor vetting programme is international and will provide background information on such individuals and companies around the world.
  9. Financial crime prevention audits and consultancy - many businesses are often too busy to take a step back to see whether they are at risk from financial crime. These audits will undertake that exercise for you and will be conducted by professional with hands-on experience in financial crime.
