International Affiliates We have long recognised the benefits of going in-country to conduct investigations or research. Local knowledge is of a premium in such work and, to that end, we have developed several international networks of affiliates. They can be grouped as follows: Principal Affiliates This is a small network of 35 affiliate offices around the world that have been working with us over many years. They are in the same field of business as we are and many come from key investigative and research backgrounds. In the Far East they are usually run by former Royal Hong Kong Police, Commercial Branch Detectives, whilst in the USA they will be former FBI agents with white collar crime backgrounds. Many are from federal law enforcement agencies or similar bodies. Not only do they have the knowledge and experience, they have access to confidential sources, closed user groups and proprietory databases. They are a core asset of our international work. Industry Sector Partners For certain types of specialist work, such as supplier/vendor vetting and pre-employment screening, we have industry sector partners, for example with our supplier vendor vetting service we have on the ground partners in over 100 countries who carry out specific functions in relation to this type of product. With pre-employment screening, we also have a separate group of partners in over 100 countries who specialise in this type of work and can carry out industry-focused enquiries. There are similar networks, or mixtures of networks, for other industry sector work. Gateway Partnerships We have developed seven Gateway Partnerships, positioned geographically on most continents. These Gateway Partners know their region and do business within the surrounding countries and it is far easier for us to approach them to conduct work in a difficult neighbouring country and trying to develop in-country resources ourselves. These are tried and tested partners who can produce quality work in difficult arenas. We have decided not to produce the usual list of countries found on similar websites but would ask, if you have an international enquiry, to call and discuss your requirements to allow us to advise you of the best resources available to you. |
